Air Mouse

I downloaded and tried out the Air Mouse app tonight. It's pretty cool and will definitely be useful for me as we don't have a DVD player and currently use my laptop to watch films through the TV. With this app we can control the media player remotely.

You need to download a free app for your PC/Mac to allow it to connect but once you have that it's seamless.

I think it's best use will be for controlling a PowerPoint presentation on my laptop wirelessly. Will let you know how that works out.

Well worth a try and best of all, it's FREE.

Another Day, Another Blog...

Hello. As you can see from the title of this blog, my name is Tim Brazier and I am a Project Manager from Sheffield, UK. I work in the 'Web Industry' if there is such a thing - the word 'Industry' just makes me think of people in steel factories, welding and wearing a lot of protective clothing - not once have I seen anyone welding a website. As this is my first post, I thought I would use it to write a bit about who I am (already done that bit), what I do (I'm running out of things to write now) and what I intend to use this blog for.

I have blogged quite a bit in the past and my last attempt using a self-hosted version of WordPress was fairly successful - I used it to write about things I was doing, new software or apps I had used and even used it as a diary for my training for the Sheffield Half Marathon back in 2009. This one is going to be a bit different. I intend to use this as a place to share my knowledge and experiences as a Project Manager and a user of technology rather than talk about what I am doing at the weekend.

So over the next weeks, months and possibly years, this blog will fill up with posts about the latest app I have installed on my iPhone, the latest lesson I have learned in Project Management and there will surely be a few posts about what I am starting to learn with Google Analytics.
